A few of the countries that allow online poker to flourish lay down strict guidelines that the casinos have to follow to ensure a smooth functioning. Countries like Australia and Finland have developed a reputation for following the national standards regarding the game. Other countries that are not that strict believe in levying heavy taxes on the casinos rather than ensuring fair play. Countries like Belgium look down upon online poker gaming and consider it to be a curse to the society.
